Disneyland, Day 5 - 6

McKenna Sue and her Grandma Kitty on McKenna's second favorite ride, "Rocky Mountain Railroad", or whatever it's called. We were so lucky to have Grandma come with us. The only thing better than Disneyland is Disneyland with Grandma (or Grandma and Grandpa).
Braden's highlight of the trip was when he was chosen (because the force was strong with him) to participate in the Jedi Training. He LOVED it. It was Grandma's favorite thing we did at Disneyland.
This is who Braden had to fight. Also, he was FIRST. We are trying to track down the picture when he realizes this. We'll post it soon. Teaser about the picture: he thought this was only pretend. "You want me to fight WHO? I'm only a Padawan Learner".

What a fun trip! Evan after 6 days at Disneyland, the kids weren't sick of it. It really is the happiest place on earth. Thank you thank you Mom, for coming with us. And thank you Jason for going AGAIN, even though deep down I know you love it just as much as me.

Disneyland, Day 4

We went to California Adventures on Thursday. Braden got soaked while playing in the Bug's Life fountain.

Teacups

McKenna was our dare devil. She would put her hands up in the air on every ride (except Space Mountain - she said it's too dark).

Disneyland, Day 3

Our cute girls on the Casey Jr. Train. Breanna loved it until the mean guy made her sit on our lap. How dare him!
On Wednesday we did the character breakfast. Well worth it.

Disneyland, Day 2

This was at Tarzan's Treehouse. Notice McKenna's enthusiastic pose. "Take me to Pirates!"
We found a cool place to eat lunch after the 100 degree weather of the first day. The kids loved feeding the ducks.

Disneyland

This is Breanna's first trip to Disneyland and her first "It's a Small World" voyage. She was mesmerized.
Arghh, me matey's! After our first (of several hundred) Pirate's ride, Rebecca pulled out the eye patches (selling for $7 at the gift shop) that she had purchased at the Dollar Store back home (for 4 for $1). Way to go Rebecca!

Pirates was definitely the kids' favorite ride.

Breanna even wore it for a second.

We have 5 more days of this???

Easter

Happy Easter! Breanna loved picking up the eggs and shaking them. She only kept the ones that made noise.
The Easter Bunny left Spiderman Easter eggs and camo Easter eggs. The camo eggs were kinda hard to find, since they blended in with the grass. Dad is pretty sure he'll find the rest of them when he mows the lawn.

Breanna loves her bunny. She carried it all over the yard with her.

Disneyland in 6 weeks!!

We're going to Disneyland in April. They're so excited. One day, McKenna came out dressed like this and said "Mom, I'm ready for Disneyland" Posted by Picasa

Sunday Walk

Breanna went on her first official walk today (previously, she had been in the stroller). We took the stroller, but she would have nothing to do with it. And she didn't walk, she RAN. She had her squeaky shoes on, and she was going so fast that the "squeak" was more of a high pitched whine.
Here she is thinking she's hot stuff. She's right.
Poor mom. No one wants to be pushed in the stroller.

Breanna loved the slides.

Farmer Jane

Cute McKenna. We can't believe how big she's getting.
Not very happy at the soccer game, because her dad is not there yet (it should be noted that he arrived straight from work, only 10 minutes late).
My little farmers. Walmart had Covies for $10! They're normally $35 - $40. I have wanted some for a long time for Grandma Kitty's farm. They've got double strength knees and they're insulated. They'll come in handy riding on the donkey sled with the Jenson's.

McKenna is so cute - we put them on her and she said "I'm a farmer!"

Valentines Day / Soccer

At the end of Braden and McKenna's Valentine's Day scavenger hunt.
Breanna loves her book!
Braden started indoor soccer. He loves it.

He was the goalie this week. He did a very good job. He only let one shot past him. They won 5 - 1 (even though they don't tell the kids who won, the kids know).

Christmas - Continued

This is a video of Christmas morning.
Dad playing his PS3 christmas present and Breanna is worn out.

Breanna got a new doll for Christmas. But she still loves this ugly old doll of Granda Kitty's best.

Breanna is climbing everywhere. This is only one of the million times we found her on Grandma Kitty's table.Posted by Picasa
